"Amores Perros" 

Amores Perros (Engish title Love's a Bitch, but I would rather translate it as Dog's Love) is a movie written by Guillermo Arriaga Jordán and directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu. It is a Mexican production released in 2000.
It has been nominated to numerous awards across the world, including Oscar and Golden Globe in 2001, in category of the best foreign language movie. It is a critically acclaimed production and winner of numerous prizes incuding BAFTA award in 2001 for the best non-english speakin movie, Critics Week Grand Prize and Young Critics Award on Cannes Festival in 2000, New Director's Award on Edinburgh International Film Festival in 2000, ALFS Award for the Director of the Year on London Critics Circle Film Awards in 2002, FIPRESCI Prize on Palm Springs International Film Festival in 2001, and many more. Not only film critics appreciated this production – it has won
numerous audience awards on festivals all over the world. Movie critics loved Amores Perros, as well as I did. Lisa Schwarzbaum from Entertainment
Weekly described it as „fierce, loving, and electric”. Wesley Morris from San Francisco Chronicle wrote about it: „There's a seething moral core in Amores Perros that uses the canine savagery as an entre to human brutality.” and  feel the same about what happens in the movie.The plot contains of stories of three people, which accidentally cross in a tragic car accident. The characters of the movie live in the same city, however they belong to different realities, and if it wasn't for the accident, their paths never would have crossed.
Teenage Octavio lives in the poor part of the city with his mother, brother and his brother's wife in whom he falls in love with and wants to start over a new life. He decides to earn money putting his brutal rottweiler Cofi in dog fights. It turns out not to be so easy, and his choices lead him to the point of no return. A fourty-year old Daniel, despite being a part of loving family with wife and kids, decides to leave it all and start a new life with his lover, beautiful Valeria. The first day of their new life turns out to be the beginning of the end – Valeria who is a model is tragically mutilated by the car crash,
loses her leg. Daniel who is expecting romance, fails her when encounters responsibility instead. The third character, El Chivo, is an old man, living in poverty and loneliness, surrounded by his dogs. Former revolutionist, after sending years in prison, earns his living by killing for money. The accident leads Cofi, Octavio's dog, into his life. The brutaity of the animal paradoxally make El Chivo revive deeply hidden feelings and longing his daughter.
